Commonly known as Stracciatella, heart of burrata is the tasty and creamy stuffing for the burrata. A mix of torn mozzarella and cream.
The word “stracciatella” comes from the italian verb “stracciare” (to tear) as its pieces of spun paste are torn.
This superb cheese can be used to enrich cooked dishes, season pizza, bruschetta and appetizers or can be served with cold cuts and toasted bread.
