The “piennolo” vine tomato is the only organic tomato of its kind grown in Mount Vesuvius National Park. Picked at the peak of ripeness in late summer, tomatoes are canned and used throughout the winter.

Canned tomatoes are the ideal condiment for pasta, bruschetta or to enrich sauces of meat or fish. Tomato sauce, garlic and extra virgin olive oil: that’s all you need.
